Abu Camp is located in the Okavango delta in northern Botswana.
Situated in a prime concession to the southwest of the delta, this extremely famous camp offers without doubt the best elephant back safari on the continent.
Abu Camp is home to around twenty habituated elephants, most having been rescued and relocated, some having been born here. Guests are able to go out on safari with these animals, walking alongside or riding up top, gameviewing along the way and joining them for a swim or a mudbath.
The lodge itself is extremely stylish and comfortable, with just five rooms.
Abu Camp is an absolutely fabulous and life-punctuating experience, but one which is unfortunately way beyond most budgets.
