Tuli is large private game reserve in the extreme southeast of Botswana, wedged between the Shashe and Limpopo Rivers and bordering South Africa and Zimbabwe.

The area has unusually broad range of safari activities on offer ... day and night vehicle safari, some excellent walking, horseback and even mountain bike safari.

There is just a handful of lodges here, a lot more conventional than the cutting edge camps elsewhere in the country, but nonetheless pleasant, professional and significantly lower cost. The best are Mashatu Main Camp and Mashatu Tented Camp.

Tuli does not combine easily with other Botswana locations, but should be considered as part of a South Africa Northeast circuit, to which it connects by road and air.
