Samawati House is located about 2km south of the village of Msambweni on the remote southern coast of Kenya.
This private house is owned by Tony and Susie Church, who are old Kenya hands.
Built in the Arabic style, there are four rooms for up to eight guests, set in an extensive private property at the back of a beautiful beach.
Essentially self-catering, the house comes with a full complement of staff including cook, askari and cleaner.
This is a lovely low key property, very uncommercial.
Guests do need to be pretty independent, so probably best suited to more seasoned travellers.
