Funzi Keys is located on a private island on the southern coast of Kenya.
This lodge has 17 rooms of various specifications, centred around an enormous thatched central building.
Activities centre around exploring this wonderful remote area by water and land, plus fishing, snorkelling, diving and picnics out on the sandbanks.
Whilst there is no doubt that Funzi Keys does offer a splendid isolation, the design of the lodges itself is rather dated and perhaps not quite up to the standards one might expect in this upper price bracket.
But it is undoubtedly an excellent, intimate and professionally run place.
