Hoanib Skeleton Coast Camp is located in the Damaraland North area of northwest Namibia.

Set in the extremely remote northwest corner of the huge Palmwag concession and close to the Skeleton Coast National Park. This wonderful little camp lies in a broard valley near the confluence of two tributaries of the Hoanib River, with just six guest tents, good sized communal area and pool.

Above all else, the camp offers utter wilderness, with gamedrives and walking safari in a pristine setting. Whilst game is naturally thin on the ground in somewhere as arid as this, desert elephant are often present in the dry river-bed below with occasional sightings of lion and brown hyena as well as other desert adapted wildlife.

Hoanib Camp is best visited for 3 nights with an included scenic flight to the Skeleton Coast. We like to combine it with Rhino Camp, which makes a very cool 4 or 5 night mini-safari to insert into the middle of a longer trip.
