Kruger National Park authorities operate a number of very simple trail camps in wilderness areas.
Guests meet their guide at the nearest restcamp on a Wednesday or Sunday afternoon and head out together to the trails camp for a three night stay.
The camps themselves are basic and the sole activity is walking, with a maximum of eight guests and requiring a reasonable degree of fitness.
Wolhunter Trail is located in the extreme southwest corner of Kruger, a mountainous area rich with elephant and rhino in particular and remnants of bushmen and other ancestral peoples.
An interesting outdoorsy option.
