Xaus Lodge is located in the southern part of the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park.
Situated at the southern entrance, 50km northeast of the park entrance at Twee Rivieren, the only fully catered lodge in the park is owned by the San and Mier communities. The lodge comprises 12 reed thatched chalets, modest public areas and a small pool, all overlooking an impressive salt pan amongst the dunes. Activities include guided vehicle and walking safari.
Xaus Lodge is possibly the best option for guests not wishing to self-cater, for whom a combination with Nossob Restcamp can provide a good Kalahari cocktail.
