Nomad Piaya Camp is located in the Serengeti Southeast area of northern Tanzania.
Situated outside the eastern borders of the Serengeti and Ngorongoro reserves, this very stylish and high-end tented camp is open during the green season
Dec/Mar, when there should be good game densities in the area.
Unusually the camp comprises yurt style tents, flamboyantly furnished and serviced to a very high standard.
Being outside the park means that the camp can also offer walking and night-drive safaris, as well as some interesting Maasai interaction.
Nomad Piaya Camp works particularly well in combination with sister facility
Nomad Masek Camp over on the southwestern plains, the combination delivering a really superb migration experience.
We have recently been informed that from 2012 the sleeping yurts will be replaced with conventional safari tents, but we do not yet have new imagery.
