Kwihala Camp is located in Ruaha national park in southern Tanzania.
Set above the Mwagusi sand river in a prime part of the park, this high specification tented camp comprises a stylish mess area and six very comfortable guests tents scattered amongst light combretum woodland.
The camp is owned by Italian Carlo Rossi, who is mad for the bush and has all the right intentions. The camp is hosted and personally guided by a rotating team of three experts ... Pietro Luraschi from Italy, Steve Roskelly and Marius Swart from South Africa, who share a passion for wildlife and are fully qualified and licensed safari guides.
Activities are centred on vehicle and walking safaris, both in the immediate area and down further afield down on the Ruaha river itself.
Kwihala Camp is approaching our idea of safari perfection ... a wonderful camp in a great location, with serious guiding and lovely staff. There is nowhere we would rather be. Great value too.
