Amendments to your trip
are generally undesirable, but procedures are in place to cater for them.

Most guests book their trips between three and six months before travel and, in the vast majority of cases, the trips do not change from that point forward.

On very rare occasions a need for trip amendments arises from our side. This might be due to adverse weather, the closure of a particular lodge or because of a booking error on the part of one of our suppliers. In all cases we will seek your approval and attempt to minimise the impact of any changes.

More commonly the need for amendment comes from the guests. It should be noted that this can often give rise to a great deal of work ... it can be much more complicated to amend a reservation than to place a fresh one. We therefore levy relatively modest charges to cover the costs of implementing this kind of amendment.

It is also worth noting that if you request an amendment which means that certain elements are no longer needed, then more significant cancellation charges will usually be incurred. It may be that you can claim back these costs on your travel insurance.

If you need assistance or advice then please do feel free to contact us for clarification.

If you are ready to proceed with your amendment then please email it to our Operations Department, we usually need confirmation in writing before we can go ahead.
