Anse Soleil Resort
is located in the southwest corner of Mahe Island
in the Seychelles
Mahe is the largest and most heavily populated island in the group, the location for the international airport and the capital Victoria. The island has a spine of forested granite mountains which run down to broad palm-lined beaches. It is a very beautiful place, but rather less laid back than either Praslin Island
or La Digue Island
and naturally nowhere near as pristine and unspoiled as the smaller uninhabited islands.
This southwest corner of the island is the most remote and beautiful part of the island by some distance, far removed from the busy settlements of the east coast and with some lovely sandy coves backed by forested mountains.
Situated on the Pointe Lazare peninsular, this quirky little place is actually rather interesting.
Previously the private residence of an American expat, it now offers three spacious and well appointed self-catering apartments, set in lush tropical gardens, with superb views and just 500m from the stunning Anse Soleil beach. Maid service and breakfast are included.
Anse Soleil is definitely one of the better small self-catering options on the island.
