Set in a broad agricultural valley at the heart of the winelands, Babylonstoren is a lovely Cape Dutch farmstead best known for its a fine dining restaurant and fabulous historic gardens, but which also offers some very pleasant guest accommodation.
The estate is centred on an historic farm which dates all the way back to 1690 and has some of the best preserved and beautiful gardens in the Cape. Various converted farm buildings on the estate contain the well known fine dining Babel Restaurant, The Conservatory Cafe for light lunches and snacks, an extensive Wine Tasting Room with cellar tours, a really very high quality Farm Shop, a lovely Bakery and an extensive spa and gym. Hotel residents also have access to a large swimming pool. There is also a large dam for kayaking.
