Banyan Tree
is located in the Seychelles.

The Seychelles is a group of islands in the Indian Ocean around 2000km from the coast of Kenya. Mahe is the main island in the group and home to the international airport.

Set on the fabulous Intendence Bay on the remote and beautiful southwest corner of the island, Banyan Tree is a high-end resort, one of the very best in the area.

The resort is centred on a large Creole style main building, with extensive and rather stylish bar, lounge and dining areas, leading out to a main swimming pool, all high about the beach. There is also a large spa and gym.

Guest accommodation is in 60 luxury suites in a range of different specifications, each with a private swimming pool.

Activities include swimming, kayaking, paddle-boarding, sailing, diving, snorkelling and turtle-hatching. Day trips around the island are also possible.

The main potential downsides at Banyan Tree are the high prices, the busy nature of other parts of the island, the large size of the property and the slight potential for adverse weather Nov/Apr.
