Bullsport Guest Farm
is located in the North Namib
in the Southwest
region of Namibia
Situated at the junction of the C14, D1206 and D854, this lodge is some 90km east of the park gate into Sossusvlei
A classic frontier-style farmstead, this place developed over the years to include a farm shop, fuel stop and garage, as well as providing simple roadside rooms. These days the fuel stop is gone and the accommodation and hospitality have been considerably upgraded.
The main reason to stay here is the access that it provides to the nearby Naukluft Mountains, whose deep valleys conceal hidden waterholes, quivertree forests and a range of game. There is an excellent network of trails which can be tackled on foot or horseback, with overnight camp-outs an option.
Bullsport Guest Farm is a family affair and one of those places which adds up to more than a sum of its parts. If you are interested in getting out into these particular mountains then this is place.
