Camp Kalahari
is located in the Makgadikgadi Pans area of central Botswana.

It is a relatively modest permanent tented camp situated on a prime private concession area to the east of the Makgadikgadi National Park. It offers simple but relatively well-priced accommodation, but provides access to an extraordinary range of unusual desert safari experiences including quad-biking on the salt pans, walks with local Bushmen and visits to a habituated meerkat colony.

The potential downsides for Camp Kalahari are the fact that the camp does not have the cachet of its illustrious neighbours, the relatively simple facilities and the less obvious nature of the safari experience.
