is located in the Okavango Mopane Tongue
area of the Okavango Delta
in northern Botswana
Situated on the waterfront in the busiest area of Moremi National Park, this small lodge has a pleasantly innovative design, with stylish public areas and a very nice pool overlooking the lagoon. Guest accommodation is in just four beautiful reed-lined rooms with private bathrooms, although they are rather close together.
Activities include vehicle safari, motorboat safari and mokoro canoe safari.
The camp is very much let down by its location. The reality is that the area is no longer the beautiful and exciting frontier zone that it once was. This Mopane Tongue now has three lodges, which are bizarrely situated adjacent to one another, plus a very large public campground and dozens of private campsites for the use of overland safari operators. During the high seasons, this place throbs with people and vehicles. So this is not a place for the safari purist.SeasonsPricesTrips
