Chaka Ndutu Camp
is located in the Southwest Sector
of the Serengeti
in Northern Tanzania
It is a medium specification mobile tented operation set in the important Ndutu area and is open start December to end March, when the main migration is often in the area. It is quite a simple camp, but relatively well priced. Activities are centred on daytime vehicle safari, with off-road driving permitted. Some limited walking safari may also be possible.
The main potential downsides at Chaka Ndutu Camp are that it is in some ways rather simple, as is the hosting and food service. It is also a little bit large for a tented camp, with twelve guest rooms. The camp is also open to vehicles from other safari companies, which can reduce the sense of intimacy. There is also the potential for very high visitor traffic and adverse weather conditions during the main migration season.UpsidesDownsidesSeasonsPricesTrips
