Chichele Presidential Lodge
is located in the Central Sector
of South Luangwa National Park
in eastern Zambia
In an impressive hilltop position in the central part of South Luangwa National Park, this historic lodge offers unusually high levels of conventional comforts in a stylish colonial environment, in many ways much more of a hotel in the bush rather than a safari camp. Notably the rooms contain air-con, the lodge is open year round and there is no minimum child age.
Activities are centred on vehicle safari, night vehicle safari and walking safari, with reasonably reliable sightings of lions and leopards in particular.
The main potential downsides are the fact that the wildlife experience is inherently less intense, it is in a slightly higher traffic area, the safari activities relatively mild, the potential for rain Nov/Apr and the extremely high temperatures in Oct/Nov.UpsidesActivitiesDiningDownsidesSeasonsPricesTrips
