Chobe Forest Reserve
is located in Chobe National Park in northern Botswana.

Situated to the north-west of the reserve, this is a large enclave of the national park which has been designated for mixed wildlife management and human habitation, with communities being permitted to run livestock in some areas.

The main reason to stay here is to gain access to the less busy western side of the famous Chobe Northern Waterfront sector of the national park.

The main downside is that it is far from being a pristine wilderness area, with settlements, a large border post and a major sealed highway.
