Coco de Mer Hotel
is located in the Seychelles
The Seychelles is a group of islands in the Indian Ocean around 2000km from the coast of Kenya. Praslin is the second largest island in the group, situated 40km northeast of the international airport on Mahe.
Set on the south of the island, Coco de Mer Hotel is a long-established and lower cost resort.
The hotel is centred on on a main building with bar, lounge and dining areas, leading out to a large swimming pool.
Guest accommodation is in 40 rooms, most in detached Creole bungalows.
Activities include swimming, kayaking, paddle-boarding, sailing, diving and snorkelling. Day trips around the island are also possible.
The main potential downsides at Coco de Mer Hotel are the proximity of the quiet road, the modest beach, the rather dated design, the rather simple rooms, the lack of facilities and the slight potential for adverse weather Nov/Apr.
