Constance Tsarabanjina Lodge
is located in the Nosy Be
area in the Northern
region of Madagascar
Situated at the back of a white sand beach on the small island of Nosy Tsarabanjina, this small high-end resort is pleasantly off the beaten track and far removed from the mass market tourism over on Nosy Be.
The lodge is centred on a two storey main building, tucked away in forest at the back of a small cove, with a lounge bar downstairs and restaurant above. There is also a small spa.
Guest accommodation is in 25 detached chalets above the ocean, with open lounge area to the front, large bedroom and bathroom to the rear. Each room also comes with a private sunlounger area out on one of the two sandy beaches on the island.
Activities include snorkelling, diving, water-skiing, sailing and visits by motorboat to other remote islands, as well as tennis, table-tennis and volleyball.
Access is usually by motorboat from the island of Nosy Be or the mainland port of Ankify, both of which take around 45 minutes. Helicopter transfers of around 20 minutes can also be arranged. The usual stay duration is 4 to 7 nights.
The main potential downsides at Constance Tsarabanjina Lodge are the difficulty of access, the shortage of availability, the slightly mainstream atmosphere and the outdoorsy nature of the activities.
