Divava Okavango Lodge
is located in the Popa Falls
area in the Caprivi Strip
region of Namibia
Set on the eastern bank of the Okavango River around 2km downstream from the Popa Falls, this relatively high-end lodge was constructed on the site of the old Suclabo Lodge.
The 20 guest rooms are ranged along the riverbank, some high in the trees, others set further back. Each is large and split level, with free-standing baths, AC, mini-bars and direct dial telephones. The main areas are also along the river, with a fine dining restaurant, large pool and extensive spa.
Activities include motorboat safari and vehicle safari.
Divava Okavango Lodge is part of a larger chain of lodges, most of which share the same rather urban and commercial style. Comfortable and professional, but somehow lacking in bush character and charm.
