Domwe Island
is located in the South Lake area of Malawi.

Domwe Island is the largest unpopulated island on Lake Malawi, situated 2km off the north shores of Cape Maclear and separated from the mainland by a stretch of water called the Ilala Gap.

The lodge itself is basic, yet very exclusive. It runs on a self-catering basis with only two full time kitchen staff. The main thatched area contains a dining and bar area besides a water sports gazebo. Guest accommodation consists of three safari tents and two tent sites under a thatched roof, all offering great views out over Lake Malawi.

Activities are based around watersports including snorkelling, canoeing and scuba diving.
