Felix Unite Camp Provenance

... also known as Provenance Cabanas, is located in the Fish River Canyon area in the Southern region of Namibia.

Set on the north bank of the Orange river around 8km east of the town of Noordoewer, on a road through a string of intensive vine cultivation, this lodge is primarily a base for the Felix Unite canoeing company.

The camp itself is quite simple, being aimed mainly at overland bus groups and budget canoeists. There are 19 self-catering chalets and a campground. The bar and restaurant is set above the pool and there is an extensive shop with ATM.

Felix Unite canoe expeditions depart from here and head downstream through some impressive and wild scenery. Trips usually range from 4 to 6 nights, covering 60 to 100 kilometres. Meals are provided, but guests are expected to bring their own camping and other equipment, which is also available for rent at the lodge.

Whilst Camp Provenance is not an unreasonable overnight stop on the road from South Africa, the vast majority of guests stay here in order to access the river trips.
