Four Seasons Mauritius at Ahanita
is located on the island of Mauritius
Mauritius is a substantial tropical island set in a very remote part of the Indian Ocean to the east of Madagascar, very far removed from the safari areas of Africa, but sometimes visited in combination by people in search of large resorts with lots of facilities, notably including some major golf courses.
Set on a beautiful coral lagoon in the Bel Air area to the east of the island, Four Seasons Anahita is a very large and relatively upmarket resort.
The resort has a wide range of facilities including four restaurants, a gym, spa, kiddie club, watersports centre and championship golf course designed by Ernie Els.
Guest accommodation is in 136 rooms with private plunge pools and gardens, plus a number of larger residential villas.
Activities include tennis, diving, snorkelling, kayaking, sailing and golf.
The main potential downsides at Four Seasons Mauritius at Ahanita are the high prices, the very large size of the property, the beaches have been artificially created in a mangrove area and the potential for adverse weather Jan/Mar.Prices
