Gibbs Farm
is located in the Ngorongoro Karatu area of Northern Tanzania.

It is the original farm-stay in the Karatu area, a high quality lodge on a wonderful historic coffee estate and in a very beautiful rural setting. A stay here can inject a really good change of pace into a safari, a chance to experience real red-road rural Africa, with walking, mountain biking and cultural visits.

The main potential downsides at Gibbs Farm are that the lodge is relatively expensive, the facilities are homespun and rather modest, the estate is now slightly encroached by new development and it is not an ideal base from which to visit the Ngorongoro Crater.
