Goliath Safari Camp
is located in the Mana Pools area of northern Zimbabwe.

In a lovely position alongside the Zambezi River in the heart of the national park, this camp is best known for being personally hosted and guided by Stretch Ferreira, an incredibly experienced guide who is famed for thrilling guests with up-close on-foot approaches to elephants, lions, buffaloes, wild-dogs and leopards. The camp itself is simple and traditional, with warm and personable hosting. Activities also include canoe safari and vehicle safari. This really is one of the best and most authentic safari experiences in Africa.

The main potential downsides are the high prices, the simplicity of the lodge, the lack of night vehicle safari, the camp is only open mid-Apr/Oct, temperatures can be extremely high in Oct/Nov and the presence of Stretch himself obviously cannot be guaranteed every day of the year or for every group of guests.
