Gomoti Plains Camp
is located in the Okavango Stanleys (NG32)
area of the Okavango Delta
in northern Botswana
This concession is subdivided into three areas, each of which is operated exclusively by a separate safari company. They do not share traversing rights over each other's patch, so you should not see vehicles from other camps during your stay, other than at the airstrip.
Gomoti Plains Camp is a relatively upmarket option, very comfortable and well presented. It is centred on a large mess tent with separate lounge and dining areas, leading out to a sandy campfire area above a seasonal inlet of the main Gomoti River. There is also a small gift shop and a large swimming pool to one side.
Guest accommodation is in 10 very comfortable guest tents, one of which is a much larger family unit with a shared bathroom, another of which is a honeymoon suite with a small plunge pool out on the deck.
Activities include mokoro canoe safari and motorboat safari, walking safari, vehicle safari and night vehicle safari. The water activities here are amongst the best in the Okavango Delta, whilst the dry safari is fast improving as the wildlife is becoming more habituated to vehicles.
