Greyton
is located in Overberg in the East of the Cape area of the Western Cape of South Africa.

This rural settlement sits at the foot of the Riviersonderend Mountains, a pretty village whose streets are lined with shady oak trees and traditional houses. It is a sleepy place whose pleasant climate, rivers and streams and easy hill walking has made it a popular place to retire.

The main reason to visit is because it marks the start of the well known Boesmankloof hiking trail, which leads 16km up the mountain pass to the very attractive village of McGregor.

We do not presently have any recommended accommodation options in the town.
