Hotel Pension Thule
is located in the city of Windhoek
in the Southeast
region of Namibia
This German-owned establishment occupies a prime hilltop setting in the desirable Eros garden suburb to the northeast and is a rather quirky place to say the least.
The property is entered through a flag festooned gateway into a square lined with mature palm trees. To the left are ranged the 25 rather ordinary guest rooms. More interesting is the main building lying directly ahead, which does have a touch of the James Bond about it ... its organic architecture and panorama windows are very 1970's. Outside an array of terraces contain dining areas, a pool and a function hall.
Hotel Pension Thule is rather more interesting than the larger hotel options in town, but is not a patch on the similarly sized and situated Hotel Heinitzberg
