in northwest Zimbabwe
Situated in a private 25 square kilometre concession bordering the Hwange National Park, overlooking an ancient riverbed. The central main lodge has a dining area, lounge, library, and bar all under a thatched roof which all overlook a small swimming pool and waterhole.
Accommodation at the lodge consists of nine simple tree houses in total, two of which are presidential suites, all of which are on stilts and all have views down over the waterhole.
Activities include half and full day vehicle safaris within Hwange National Park which is a three to four kilometre drive from the similarly named Khulu Ivory Lodge, increasing the chance of coming into contact with quite a few vehicles along the way. Visits to the local village of Dete and also the wild painted dog conservation centre are also available.
