... is located in the Wild Coast region in the Eastern Cape of South Africa.

+ medium sized private reserve
+ important conservation project
+ fantastic views
+ small intimate camp
+ good range of activities
+ reliable game viewing
+ cheetah rehabilitation

Situated 4km inland from Cintsa West, this relatively small 4,000 hectare private reserve claims to contain two lodges, but in truth they are two different room types which share the same central facilities. The 12 lower cost rooms known as Bush Camp are situated on a hillside within walking distance of the main buildings. The 6 higher specification rooms known as Valley Camp are located a short drive away.

Activities include pool and river swimming, gentle vehicle safari and walks, canoeing and abseiling, with horse-riding, surfing and fishing down at the coast. Wildlife on the reserve is reasonable, but the lions and elephants are kept in a separate enclosure, the latter being available for a petting experience.

- fenced reserve
- proximity to human habitation
- only accessible from the main road
- reclaimed farmland
- high visitor traffic
- lions enclosed in separate fenced area
- no off-road driving

Inkwenkwezi is a relatively tame reserve, perhaps best suited to families with younger children.
