AmaKhosi IsiGodlo Private Villa
is located in the Pongola area of the Natal Northeast region of Natal in South Africa.

AmaKhosi is a private wildlife reserve which extends over and area of 100 square kilometres. The terrain here is quite undulating, with hills separated by stream-cut gorges, large patches of hardwood forest and some more open scrub and modest open grasslands. The area is home to a broad range of wildlife, including giraffes, zebras, lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, southern white rhinos and buffaloes.

AmaKhosi IsiGodlo Private Villa is a high quality private safari house which is set a short distance from the main AmaKhosi Safari Lodge, but which can function completely separately. It comprises a lovely open plan lounge and dining area, two bedrooms with private bathrooms and a very nice open deck above the river with a small infinity swimming pool. Guests can also use the facilities down at the main lodge, including the extensive spa and gym.

Activities include vehicle safari, walking safari, night vehicle safari and cultural interaction with the local Zulu people.

AmaKhosi IsiGodlo Private Villa is one of the highest quality safari options in KwaZulu Natal. Its relatively remote location, around 50km south of the main entry into Swaziland, means that it tends to most commonly be included in self-drive trips. For this reason the prices are relatively low for a place of this quality.

As with all relatively small fenced reserves, this cannot not be considered a true wilderness, but it does nonetheless deliver a very high quality experience.
