Islands of Siankaba
is located in the Livingstone area of southern Zambia.

In a lovely remote position on an island on the Zambezi River some 43km upstream from the Victoria Falls, this small lodge offers high quality accommodation and a good standard of hosting at a less than top-end price. An extremely wide range of activities includes visits to the falls themselves, motorboat safaris, white-water rafting and cultural visits, although most are not included in the price.

The main potential downsides are the the fact that this is not a true safari area, that repeated visits to the falls area from such a distance may become a bit of a pain, that the rooms especially are really rather simple, that the service levels can be a little variable, that the area is quite exposed to rain Nov/Apr and can experience extremely high temperatures in Oct/Nov.
