Kambi ya Tembo
also known as Elerai Tented Camp, is located in the West Kilimanjaro area of Northeast Tanzania.

It is a comfortable permanent tented lodge in a hilltop setting in West Kilimanjaro, a remote and little-visited safari area most famous for its views over Mount Kilimanjaro. It is a very pleasant and earthy camp, with fourteen guest tents and relatively well priced. Activities include vehicle safari, treks onto the Shira Plateau and cultural interaction with the local Maasai people.

The main potential downsides at Kambi ya Tembo are that this area is too peripheral for most people, it has quite low wildlife densities, especially during the dry season and some parts are mixed use with domestic stock and Maasai villages.
