Situated on the 90 square kilometre Kariega fenced reserve on the Boesmans River, 8km inland from the seaside village of Kenton on Sea. It contains a mix of landscapes which are truly beautiful, but polluted in parts by the presence of fences, nearby farms and a main road which cuts right through the middle. There is a good range of wildlife, including free-roaming rhinos, elephants and lions.
Set adjacent to the larger Kariega Main Lodge
, this slightly more upmarket option has stylish public areas, a nice pool and ten single bedroom cabins.
Activities include vehicle safari, walking, cycling, boating and canoeing, as well as boat trips down to the beach at Kenton-on-Sea.
