Kichaka Ruaha
is located in the Ruaha area in the southern region of Tanzania.

This is an exceptional private guided safari experience that operates throughout Ruaha, one of the finest reserves in Africa. It is for the exclusive use of a single group of guests and is led by one of the best guide and host teams in Africa, the fabulous Moli and Noelle.

Kichaka Ruaha is a real passion project, an utterly authentic safari experience which is completely tailored to each group, with multiple camps and access to many different areas. Activities include vehicle safari and some serious walking safari options, including previously unexplored areas. Perhaps the greatest highlight is being in the company of the wonderful hosts and their crew.

The main potential downsides at Kichaka Ruaha are that it is relatively expensive, especially for groups of 1, 2 or 3 that, guests need to be quite outdoorsy and that this kind of safari inherently carries a higher level of risk. The reserve can get very hot during the dry season and tsetse flies can be a nuisance in some areas.
