Kilimanjaro Lemosho 6A
is a non-technical six night private trek along the Lemosho Trail, which starts its ascent from the western side of Mount Kilimanjaro in the northeast region of Tanzania.

This is the standard six night Lemosho trek offered by lower quality operators, with two decent days passing through the forest, but then four nights on the standard Machame/Shira trail with the potential for very high traffic exposure. Poor acclimatisation over the first two days significantly reduces the chances of summit success, which languish around 78%.

Night 1 : Lemosho Forest
Night 2 : Shira One
Night 3 : Barranco Valley
Night 4 : Karanga Valley
Night 5 : Barafu
Night 6 : Millennium

Kilimanjaro Lemosho 6A is not a trek that we generally recommend, although we are able to offer it for private groups who are particularly keen on this particular format.

We tend to most often refer to it when guests ask specifically for a competitive quotation, but once we have gone through the various pros and cons, we usually move on to a better alternative. It tends to take a very unusual set of circumstances for this to be the ideal trek.
