Kuyenda Camp
is located in the Southern Sector of South Luangwa National Park in eastern Zambia.

In a decent position overlooking a tributary of the main river in the southern sector of South Luangwa National Park, this very traditional small camp has just four unusual open chalets. It is personally hosted by the legendary Phil Berry, who has been here in the bush since the 1970's and really is a serious authority on all things safari. The guiding is therefore exceptional, with activities including vehicle safari, night vehicle safari and particularly strong walking safari. It is open all year.

The main potential downsides are the relatively high price, the old-fashioned design, the potential for adverse conditions at certain times of year, the open nature of the rooms, increased exposure to other guests, relative inflexibility of safari activities, the potential for slightly fewer wildlife sightings in this southern sector and the extremely high temperatures in Oct/Nov.
