Kyambura Gorge Lodge
is located in the Queen Elizabeth National Park
area of western Uganda
Situated close to the Kyambura Gorge, this lodge is just outside the northeast boundary of the reserve and is accessed along a village track.
It is perhaps the most upmarket in the area and certainly it is the most expensive. Intimate public areas are contained within a modest tin-roofed structure, leading out to a nice small pool. The rooms are lovely, each having individual character and charm.
Activities in the area include game-drives in the reserve, motorboat safari along the Kizinga Channel and chimpanzee tracking in the Kyambura Gorge.Kyambura Gorge Lodge
is part of the Volcanoes family of facilities which also includes Volcanoes Bwindi Lodge
and Mount Gahinga Lodge
, all of which are relatively high quality but very pricey for what they are.
For this reason we tend to more often recommend Katara Lodge
in this area.
