The Lalibela Reserve comprises of 75 square kilometres of pretty undulating grasslands, punctuated by steep wooded valleys, well stocked with all the major wildlife species.
The camp is tucked away in a valley deep within the reserve and has a total of eight rooms which can each sleep up to four guests. The outside dining area is particularly nice, as are the two pools.
The camp is specifically designed for families. There is no minimum age and a host of child-friendly activities are offered in addition to the usual vehicle safaris.
Lalibela Mark's Camp is exactly what a safari lodge should be in this area. It does not pretend to offer an authentic wilderness experience, but instead delivers a high quality child-friendly non-malarial safari that both parents and youngsters will appreciate.
