Legendary Arusha Lodge

... is located in the Arusha area in the northern region of Tanzania.

This genuinely upmarket small facility, one of the very best in the area is pleasantly situated within the well known Burka Coffee Plantation to the northwest of town and convenient for Arusha Domestic Airport, which can be reached via private roads.

Legendary Arusha Lodge

The lodge itself is set in large shady grounds which run to around six hectares, set back 250 metres off the main Nairobi road.

It is centred on a lovely colonial style homestead containing traditional lounge and dining areas, with beautiful wrap-around verandahs and lovely gardens containing a good sized pool.

The lodge is owned by Legendary Safaris, who are the modern manifestation of one of the country's oldest safari companies and owns a number of very exclusive properties.

Guests can expect elevated levels of service and excellent food. The lodge is relatively expensive. Not necessarily overpriced for somewhere of this quality, but at the upper end of the scale in this area.

It is mostly used for guests on a circuit of related properties, which is to say people on very high-end and pricey safaris. It is on the wrong side of town for connections to Kilimanjaro International Airport.
