Lemala Ndutu Camp
is located in the Southwest Sector
of the Serengeti
in Northern Tanzania
It is a high specification mobile tented operation set in the important Ndutu area and is open start December to end March, when the main migration is often in the area. It is a very pleasant camp, with ten guest tents, elegantly presented and genially hosted.
Activities are centred on daytime vehicle safari, with off-road driving permitted. Some limited walking safari may also be possible. The camp also offers a special range of activities specifically for children.
The main potential downsides at Lemala Ndutu Camp are that it is relatively highly priced, activities are effectively limited to daytime vehicle safari only and fly-in guests are often asked to share vehicles whilst out on safari. The camp is also open to vehicles from other safari companies, which can reduce the sense of intimacy. There is also the potential for very high visitor traffic and adverse weather conditions during the main migration season.UpsidesDownsidesSeasonsPricesTrips
