is located on the island of Nosy Be
in the Northern
region of Madagascar
Set on the quieter end of the busy Mandirokely Beach to the southwest of the island of Nosy Be, this relatively upmarket small lodge is centred on a large open-sided main building with lounge and dining areas, leading out to two nice swimming pools and broad terraces above the beach.
Guest accommodation is in a total of ten rooms, eight Bungalows and two Family Bungalows.
Activities include diving, snorkelling, sailing and motorboat trips to other islands, as well as exploring the island of Nosy Be itself.
The lodge is often combined by boat with Eden Lodge
over on the mainland coast, which is under the same ownership.
The main potential downsides at L'Heure Bleu are the presence of significant mass market tourism on the island and the relatively disappointing beach.
