Linyanti East Concession
, also known as NG15, is the most easterly of the four private safari areas that make up the Linyanti Waterfront
area of northern Botswana
This superb concession covers a very respectable 875 square kilometres and is restricted to around 64 guests in five small camps, around 14 square kilometres per person, which is a relatively low guest density.
The vast majority of this area is dry mopane woodland, of generally low wildlife density. The more interesting parts lie along the western border, where groves of impressive hardwood forest stand above a grassy "beach", sloping down to the Linyanti River and looking out over the wetlands of the Caprivi Heel.
The wildlife on this concession is as rich and varied as any in the Linyanti Waterfront
and is especially strong for elephants, lions wild dogs and leopards.
Activities area centred on vehicle safari, supplemented by night vehicle safari, motorboat safari, canoe safari and walking safari. There is also a range of hides, some of which can be stayed in overnight.
The main negatives here are the very high prices, lack of availability and a tendency for safari activities to be a little too gentle for our tastes.SeasonsAccommodationTrips
