Linyanti Ebony Camp

... is located in the Chobe Enclave area of Linyanti in northern Botswana.

Upsides ...

Linyanti Ebony Camp is a very small and relatively modest option in a pretty waterfront position on the excellent Chobe Enclave private concession area, offering a wide range of safari activities and very strong wildlife viewing during May/Oct dry season, particularly notable for elephants, lions, wild dogs and leopards. The camp is considerably lower cost than most other options in this premium Linyanti Waterfront area and also has a very open child policy.

Downsides ...

The main downsides are the simplicity of Linyanti Ebony Camp and the potential for weaker wildlife viewing during Nov/Apr green season.

When to visit ...

May/Oct ... is the dry season in this part of the world and is generally the best time for land-based wildlife viewing, as serious numbers of animals are drawn in to water from the vast dry hinterland.

Dec/Apr ... is the green season, when much of the wildlife will have dispersed into the surrounding mopane woodlands. There is still a good deal of resident wildlife around, the bush looks beautiful and there are lots of baby animals around, so the camps are still able to offer a lovely safari experience and at much reduced prices.

A few words about prices ...

We are specialists in helping our guests to build the very best and most suitable safaris for the lowest possible prices. A safari can be a very expensive undertaking and we always do everything we can to meet your target budget.

Further up this page you will see our guide price for Linyanti Ebony Camp. This is the high season rate per person per night sharing a double room. For most people this should represent a worst case scenario, since various discounts usually apply at other times of year.

We guarantee that the prices we charge will be the same or, more often than not, considerably less than if you were to book directly with the owner. We also guarantee to match or beat any legitimate competitive quotations. Additionally, all our itineraries have fully itemised pricing, so that you can see exactly how much each element costs, which should provide you with great reassurance and help you to make decisions when fine-tuning your trip.

How we like to use Linyanti Ebony Camp in trips ...

We really appreciate Linyanti Ebony Camp for the quality of the safari area and the excellence of the guiding. We have always enjoyed our time here and consider it to be a viable alternative for guests who are trying to keep a lid on costs. It's particularly great from groups of 8-10 guests, who can take the whole camp.

We usually recommend a stay duration of three nights, although two is possible and longer is always nice.

The camp is usually best visited in combination with at least one other camp in northern Botswana, preferably two or three others, predominantly in the Okavango Delta, making a total stay in the region of 6 to 12 nights.
