Lion Camp
is located in the Northern Sector of South Luangwa National Park in eastern Zambia.

In an impressive position above a dry river in the quiet northern sector of South Luangwa National Park, this relatively large, heavily-built but quite stylish lodge represents an unusually comfortable and exceptionally well-priced way to access this prime area. Activities are centred on vehicle safari, night vehicle safari and walking safari. The camp has a deserved reputation for delivering intense animal sightings, notably of lions and leopards.

The main potential downsides are the fact that the large size and heavy build of the lodge is a little out of character in this area, there's a few aesthetic issues with aspects of the design, the quality of hosting and guiding is not always up the the incredibly high standards of neighbouring camps, walking safari is potentially rather weak, the absence of hides and the extremely high temperatures in Oct/Nov.
