Masindi Hotel
is located in the Murchison Falls area of western Uganda.

Built in 1923 by the East Africa Railways Commission, this rambling colonial hotel is set in pleasant grounds 1km to the northwest of the town.

Although it has undoubtedly seen better days, the hotel is much improved over recent years. The Hemingway Bar now boasts large screen sports and the Kabarega Restaurant offers a range of international dishes.

Masindi Hotel remains a relatively peripheral choice for most safari travellers and guest reviews are mixed, but is quite often used as a lunch stop for overland safaris travelling to and from Murchison Falls.
