Milkwood Manor

... is located in Plettenberg Bay in the Garden Route area of the Western Cape in South Africa.

Despite the fact that the peninsular around this lodge was washed away by a freak flood in 2008, its position remains one of the best in the town, with broad views out over the Keurbooms Estuary.

The Victorian manor contains a dozen decent rooms and a very pleasant restaurant. Kayaks are available.

Milkwood Manor is a very pleasant and intimate spot, a short walk from the town centre, but in a unique waterfront location. The main downside for us is the busy and over-developed nature of the town itself.
