Mupamadzi Trail

... also rather confusingly referred to as The Mobile Walking Safari, is located in the Northern Sector of South Luangwa National Park in eastern Zambia.

This exceptional five night safari trek travels through prime wilderness areas in the northernmost part of the park. Unlike many more circular walking safaris, Mupamadzi Trail actually follows general direction, travelling around 10km each day and camping at three different locations along the way.

It is a group trek for a maximum of six guests, with twice weekly departures between mid June and end September.

Mupamadzi Trail is operated by Robin Pope Safaris and is usually packaged up with two nights at Nkwali Camp in the central sector at the front end and three nights at Tena Tena Camp or Nsefu Camp at the end, making an absolutely superb if rather specialist ten night safari.
